Test for me!

Want to test for me but are concerned you may not be good enough? Wondering how the process works? Check out this post for info!

How it works: When I have a pattern ready for testing I’ll send out what is called a tester call. This means I’ll send you an email letting you know there’s a testing opportunity available and how to apply. I generally take the first three who respond, so if you don’t get chosen it doesn’t mean I don’t want you to test for me or that you’re not good enough. It just means others applied before you.

In the tester call I’ll usually include the information about how much yarn and what weight yarn you’ll need. I’ll also include the finished size and the deadline for feedback. This will usually be a week or two depending on the size of the project. As of now I cannot offer yarn support.

But what if I’m not good enough? My patterns are focused on teaching new stitches and techniques. This means I need testers of all skill levels, including beginners. You generally need to be able to read a pattern but if you can’t, don’t let that stop you from applying. I am always available to help you with any questions you may have. I generally respond to emails the same day so you’ll have help quickly.
